Site Infrastructure for Savannah's Port-Driven Growth

The Port of Savannah closed 2024 as the fastest-growing container gateway on the East Coast, and the Georgia Ports Authority's $4.5 billion infrastructure investment — including a $1.54 billion overhaul at Ocean Terminal — is fueling job sites across Chatham County. Add in hotel construction, Historic District renovation, and new residential development, and crews everywhere need power, sanitation, and security that the construction itself hasn't provided yet. Rentals To Go supplies portable toilets, temporary fencing, generators, and bunk and shower trailers to job sites throughout Savannah, servicing everything on a schedule that matches your project. Give us a call at 877-929-1919 and we'll get units on your site fast.

Serving Georgia's First City

Savannah keeps people busy. The Port of Savannah closed 2024 as the fastest-growing container gateway on the U.S. East Coast, with container volume up 12.5% over the prior year, and the infrastructure investment to match that growth is already underway. A $1.54 billion improvement project is in progress at Ocean Terminal alone, with the first phase of the container yard renovation expected to complete in 2027. Add in the private development, hotel construction, and residential projects happening across Chatham County, and there's no shortage of active job sites that need reliable sanitation.

Then there's the event side of things — and Savannah's calendar is in a league of its own. From St. Patrick's season to Forsyth Park festivals to River Street celebrations, this city draws crowds that need to be planned for. Rentals To Go handles both sides of that equation.

Porta Potties for Savannah Events

Savannah's St. Patrick's Day Parade is one of the largest in America, right behind New York City and Chicago, drawing visitors from all over the world to the Historic District. Attendance estimates run anywhere from 300,000 to 700,000 people — which makes St. Patrick's season one of the most demanding periods for temporary sanitation anywhere in Georgia. If you're organizing an event during that stretch, getting your restroom logistics sorted early is just part of the job.

The rest of the year is busy too. The Savannah Music Festival runs across multiple weeks each spring, the Savannah Jazz Festival takes place in September at Forsyth Park and venues throughout the Historic District, and the SCAD Savannah Film Festival runs October 24–31. The weekly Savannah Farmers and Makers Market fills Forsyth Park every Saturday morning from 9am to 1pm, year-round. Each of these draws crowds, vendors, and logistics that all need to be accounted for.

Whether you're planning a wedding in a historic square, coordinating a vendor event on River Street, or running logistics for a large outdoor festival, we can help you figure out what you need and get it there on time.

Event rentals are a natural fit for:

St. Patrick's Day events and parade viewing areas
Outdoor weddings in Savannah's historic squares
Forsyth Park festivals and farmers market events
River Street and Plant Riverside District gatherings
SCAD events, film festivals, and arts programming
Private parties, graduation celebrations, and corporate events

Construction Site Porta Potty Rentals in Savannah

Savannah is in the middle of a serious construction run. The Georgia Ports Authority alone is investing $4.5 billion in port infrastructure over the next decade — and that doesn't even account for the hotel projects, residential developments, and road improvements happening across Chatham County. There's a lot being built here, and the crews doing the work need clean, reliable restroom facilities on-site.

OSHA requires a minimum number of toilet facilities based on crew size, so having the right units in place keeps your site compliant and your project moving. Rentals To Go delivers construction-grade portable toilets and handwashing stations built to hold up through a full Georgia workday, and we handle the scheduled servicing so it's one less thing on your plate.

We work with construction projects of all sizes across Savannah and Chatham County, including port and maritime infrastructure, Historic District renovation, new residential and mixed-use development, commercial and hospitality projects, and road work throughout the metro.
